You can help to nourish Idaho’s hungry! not just feed but Fruits and Vegetables Proteins Canned or dried beans and peas Canned vegetables Fruits canned in juice or extra light syrup Unsalted nuts 100% fruit and/or vegetable juices Canned meats and fish (low sodium) Tomato products and pasta sauces Canned meals (soup, stew, chili, etc.) Peanut or other nut butters (reduced sodium is best!) (all natural with no trans-‐fat is best) Dairy Grains Non-‐fat or low-‐fat milk Whole grain pasta Milk alternatives (rice, soy, almond) Regular or instant brown rice These items must be boxed, canned, or Plain oats/oatmeal dehydrated so they are shelf-‐stable. Whole grain cereals with low sugar Items Personal Care Pantry Staples Toilet paper Canola or other cooking oils Diapers Whole wheat or all-‐purpose flour Toothpaste and toothbrushes Baking powder and baking soda Soap and shampoo Dried herbs and spices Deodorant Sugar Perishable items are welcome if they are delivered directly to The Idaho Foodbank or your nearest food pantry .
